Azərbaycan Respublikası Dövlət Neft Şirkətinin "Neftqazelmitədqiqatlayihə" İnstitutunun rəsmi nəşri olan "SOCAR Proceedings" jurnalı 1930-cu ildən nəşr edilir və neft–qaz sənayesinin mütəxəssisləri, aspirantları və elmi işçiləri üçün nəzərdə tutulmuşdur.
Jurnal beynəlxalq sitatgətirmə sistemi Scopus, Rusiya Elmi Sitatgətirmə İndeksi və EI’s Compendex, Petroleum Abstracts (Tulsa), Chemical Abstracts, Inspec xülasələndirmə sistemlərinə daxildir.
2017-ci ildə beynəlxalq indekslədirmə və xülasələndirmə sistemi Emerging Sources Citation Index daxil olunub.

Dear Colleagues,
"SOCAR Proceedings" journal has been published since 1930. Published by “OilGasScientificResearchProject” Institute of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR).
The journal provides an open platform for the scientific information exchange, fundamental and applied research results, discussion of wide spread issues in the oil and gas industry development and information dissemination on best practices for a wide target audience.
Journal is indexed in WOS (Emerging Sources Citation Index), SCOPUS (Q2), Russian Scientific Citation Index and abstracted in EI’s Compendex, Petroleum Abstracts (Tulsa), Inspec, Chemical Abstracts database.
The aim of this Special Issue is to highlight the role and influence of the fundamental sciences in the oil and gas industry development. The Special Issue will cover following research areas: geology, geophysics, reservoir engineering, drilling engineering, production engineering, transportation, ecology and energetics, as well as fundamental scientific research of applied importance to the oil and gas industry.
The editorial board of the journal invites you to take part in a Special Issue of the “SOCAR Proceedings” journal and publish experimental and theoretical research results. The types of articles to be published include original articles, editorials, case reports, reviews, short communications, and letters to the editor.
